A Covid Story - Book Cover

A COVID STORY is an introspective memoir of an induced medical coma, a unique recovery process, and an amazing community that supported a patient’s second chance at life.

This book offers support for survivors, insights for their caregivers, hope for those currently infected and their families; as well as persuasive evidence for those untouched by COVID’s deadly embrace.

EXCERPT

"I could not control having a deadly reaction to COVID-19. However, I could control what it meant to me. It was terrifying, but it was also an opportunity for rebirth and reassessment. I learned to appreciate the extraordinary work of my medical community. I learned to love my family and friends. And I learned to love myself for who I am and not who I think I need to be.

I wrote this book to share one COVID story. It’s my hope that survivors will connect to my experience and caregivers will have a sense of what they can do to help them. I want to highlight the amazing work of my medical team.  I also want to acknowledge my personal community for their tremendous support in my time of need. Finally, I want to make COVID more real for those people who have been spared from its devastating impact."

I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED READING THAT MEMOIR!

It both gave you a sense of being caught up in the day to day suspense as well as the reality of this pandemic.

You know he survives but you’re still at the edge of your seat.
It’s a great book and resource.
